Circular Showdown 2025
Monday, November 10 - Hall015 (15:00-19:00)
Participants of the entrepreneurial program Circle Lab will present their circular ideas to a large audience this day. They work hard from April through October to take their sustainable initiative to the next level. We conclude with a convivial drink.
Experience circularity at Station House
During Delft Climate Week, Stationshuis is buzzing with activities around circularity and sustainability. Here you can experience how small initiatives make a big difference in everyday life. On Wednesday, November 12 (14:00 to 16:00) Repair Kid will be on hand. Everyone can discover how to easily repair stuff in a playful way. Broken things get a second life and throwing them away is no longer necessary.
Thursday, Nov. 13 (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) is all about reuse with the Free Furniture Container: stop by, give furniture a second chance and discover how valuable something can be that would otherwise be thrown away.
On Friday morning, November 14 (10:00 to 12:00), we will open the doors of the Sewing Café with Tegendraad, where visitors will learn how to mend clothing in small groups. Sign up at e.tegendraad@gmail.com (max 6 participants). In the afternoon (14:00 to 17:00) you will make your own reusable product together with Tegendraad. For this there is room for 8 participants, also sign up via e.tegendraad@gmail.com.
This shows that sustainability is not only about big plans, but also about the small, practical steps you can take yourself. The Station House shows: circularity starts close to home.

New Future Open Day
Thursday, November 13 - New Future Lab (Cable District) (16:00-18:00)
Stop by New Future Lab's office and meet our circular entrepreneurs and initiatives.
On Thursday afternoon, everyone is welcome to attend the New Future Open House at the Cable District. This is the time to take a look behind the scenes at New Future Lab and meet our entrepreneurs and their circular ideas. Between 16:00 and 17:00 we will show visitors around our spaces and tell them more about Circle Lab, the entrepreneurial program in which sustainable initiatives are strengthened. Then we open the shed where several entrepreneurs show their work, such as Borstelbeer, Studio Haering and HESTAS. Their products and stories show how creativity and sustainability go hand in hand. From 17:00 we close the day with New Future Drinks, in collaboration with Eigenwyns, and a festive clothing swap. Bring an item of clothing you no longer wear and swap it for something new. This way we combine meeting, inspiration and action in an accessible way.
Overview of activities at New Future Lab
- 16:00-17:00: Tours of our spaces + short talk on entrepreneurial program Circle Lab
- Meet entrepreneurs in the shed (including Borstelbeer, Studio Haering, HESTAS, truck rearview mirror and more)

Inspiration lunch with Hilda on food waste: practical tips and a shared meal
Saturday, Nov. 15 - Boost Local (De Hoven shopping center)
At Boost Lokaal in shopping center De Hoven, we are hosting a special inspiration lunch with entrepreneur Hilda Ferwerda on Saturday. The theme? Fighting food waste. During this session, Hilda talks about how you can consciously deal with leftover food and about her initiative 'Lekker-eten-over'. Hilda participated in entrepreneurship program Circle Lab (part of New Future Lab) to expand her initiative. Together with her we will discuss the impact of waste and discover that giving away instead of throwing away does not have to be complicated at all. Of course there will also be food: visitors will join us for a communal lunch composed by leftover food. This lunch lecture shows that sustainability is not just an abstract concept, but something you can do yourself in a very practical way and make a difference on a small scale. The gathering, the stories of Hilda and the tasteful examples ensured an inspiring afternoon full of practical tips and new insights.
