Celebrate Neighborhood Day at the Station House

‍OnSaturday, September 27, we open the doors of the Stationshuis wide for a festive Neighborhood Day full of encounters, creativity and fun! From 10:00 to 16:00 you are welcome at our beautiful place at the Marcellus Emantspad 1 in Delft, in the middle between Voorhof and Tanthof.

What to expect.

In and around the Station House it will be bustling with activities all day long. In the Station Garden, together with entrepreneur Maiwynn, we are building new vegetable garden containers and will be sowing and gardening with local residents. 

For children there is the cheerful Kids Café, with coloring pages (including special Stationshuis edition!), Delft Blue tiles to decorate, games, read-aloud moments and a creative craft workshop.

At the free market you can browse at the Free Fashion Market and our Free Furniture Container. We will also hand out the Neighbor Plume: neighbors can nominate in advance their most caring, sweet or fun neighbor - at 12:00 there will be a festive moment to hand over the plumes including brass band.

(Live) music and fun are plentiful, for the children there is also a bouncy castle.

Workshops & meeting

There are fun workshops for young and old, such as jewelry making and taking an Arabic class. You can also join a tour of the Pionierskwartier and possibly even play a game of Fifa with Straatmaatje.

And of course ... good food!

We will provide delicious snacks thanks to food truck Buikje Rond and Delftenaar Catering by Orwa Almasoud with delicious Syrian delicacies. 

Together with neighborhood organizations and local residents, we make Neighborhood Day an unforgettable day.
