Low literacy is a major underestimated problem in the Netherlands. What is low literacy? How do you recognize this target group? And how do you take this target group into account in your design or product? Ellen Pattenier, senior staff member of the Reading and Writing Foundation, gives us more insight into this. There are also concrete tools to make your texts suitable for the low-literate.
New Future Lab is hosting this workshop in partnership with Raccoon Serious Games and the Reading and Writing Foundation.
Please note that this workshop is open to New Future Lab members only.

At the New Future Lab, we believe that the future is not fixed, but that we can create it ourselves. Therefore, we support future-makers who dare to dream of a better world and are willing to work towards it. Together we build an inclusive, social and just future for all.
