Penarie: attention to safe working

Getting started with business risk, where do you start? Especially for small businesses and startups, we developed the game Penarie: and they worked happily ever after.

The challenge

A healthy and safe work environment reduces the risk of absenteeism and boosts productivity. This goes beyond implementing physical and tangible safety measures. The mental well-being of employees is also essential. Young SMEs in particular still pay insufficient attention to risk reduction in the workplace. With the card game Penarie, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and New Future Lab want to give SMEs a real wake-up call. A card game that encourages thought and action.

Our solution

The Penarie card game helps with the question: what is the biggest risk in your company? Is it that team members often carry on working when they are tired or the lack of a FAFS officer? You see people really get a moment to think and a conversation starts. Risks seem small, until the moment you are too late. It is therefore important to give adequate attention to a healthy and safe work environment. With a potty Penarie every month or quarter, you can quickly discover which risks your team considers most important. It makes people feel heard, and it's fun, too.

The result

The card game is offered free of charge to the first 500 startups and SMEs by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. Do you also want to work on your business risks in a fun and effective way? Get to know the game a request it easily via www.gezondenveiligmkb.nl
