Naigel Lang: Nothing stops me

Entrepreneurship without sight requires perseverance, and Naigel is determined to prove that limitations need not be a hindrance. After losing his sight, he discovered a new passion as a massage therapist. Now Naigel wants to focus on his next step, which is to develop project blind cooking, where he wants others to experience how powerful cooking without sight can be.

Entrepreneurship with impact

For Naigel, entrepreneurship is a way to stay active, help others and create social connection. After disappointing experiences with counseling, he started his massage practice, including "spiritual care massage," Through physical contact and conversation during his massages, he creates a safe space where people feel at ease and their trust is restored.

From adversity to strength 

His blindness, caused by excessive eye pressure, changed everything. Nevertheless, he chose not to be downhearted. Through music, sports, family and friends, he found a new balance and a positive attitude to life. His story shows how willpower can overcome anything.

Future plans

Naigel is looking ahead. He is working on a documentary about his life journey and is part of the Delft Boost Lab program, where he receives guidance as an entrepreneur with a disability. With great energy, he continues to motivate himself and others.
