Be open to the unknown

July 10, 2024

Entrepreneurship is a personal journey, but you don't have to face it alone. That's why our future-makers regularly share their entrepreneurial stories to inspire and share knowledge. After all, together you grow faster than alone. This time the story of Yentle Scholtes, founder of Eigenwyns.

Be open to the unknown

'My entrepreneurial journey began with a desire for freedom and adventure. My passion for being outdoors combined with my curiosity about the craft of winemaking led me down a new path. During vacations, I visited many wineries, followed by multiple wine courses and a 2-year degree in winemaking and winemaking. Finally, I decided to make my dream a reality and take action by quitting my regular job and working on a vineyard. From then on, the ball started rolling faster and I took first steps towards my own brand: Eigenwyns. With Eigenwyns, I want to enrich the wine world with a dose of whimsy by focusing on sustainability and experimenting with new flavors.'

'Through New Future Lab, I found a community with inspiring entrepreneurs who are each trying to realize a unique dream. The exchange of experiences and ideas with other entrepreneurs offers me inspiration and support. No idea is too crazy at New Future Lab and that makes this place unique. For anyone at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey: share your ideas and find the people who cheer you on. Dream big and make your goals smaller and realistic so it's easier to take action. Stay curious, embrace imperfection and be open to the unknown.'
