The Station House is open!

About the Station House

The Stationshuis is the new meeting place of Delft-West. A lively place where ideas grow, people find each other and talent is given space. Meeting and entrepreneurship are central here.

On the top floor you will find flexible workplaces for entrepreneurs and initiators from the neighborhood, who are affiliated with the Delft Boost Lab program. This program supports entrepreneurs from Delft-West in their growth with knowledge, network and workspace.

The accompanying café on the first floor is open to everyone. In the Stationshuis café you can enjoy a drink and eat something tasty for an affordable amount. Have a chat, read the daily newspaper or play a game together. And through the "swap closet," visitors share free items and clothing with each other.

Outside, there is plenty of space to relax. Enjoy the sun, play a game of chess XXL or get inspired by experiments with circular ideas. And last but not least, with the launch of the Station House, the community barn also opens. In this barn you will find shared tools. Practice doing odd jobs or repairs, and bring your creative projects to life.

Events and activities

At the Station House, there are plenty of activities for young and old alike! From creative afternoons with Repair Kid and chess activities to sewing mornings and Arabic tutoring for children. Take a look at our calendar of activities for the month of June.

Sweet gesture

At the Station House, residents regularly buy a nice cup of coffee or tea for someone else. In this way, everyone, even those who are a little short of money, can enjoy a pleasant moment. We cordially invite neighborhood residents to take advantage of this treat. The coffee is ready, thanks to another from the neighborhood.

Becoming a volunteer or an idea

The Station House is a place we make a success together. Want to do something? Nice! For example, we are still looking for volunteers to work shifts in the neighborhood café, organize fun activities or people who want to help others do chores in the community barn. Get in touch at stationshuis@newfuturelab.nl.

Initiators

‍TheStation House is an initiative of New Future Lab and is part of the Delft-West Regio Deal.

The development is co-sponsored by the municipality of Delft and BPD Bouwfonds Gebiedsontwikkeling as part of the broader area development at Delft Campus Station. At the Station House you can already experience how this area will develop in the future.
